The Key of Solomon the King, Mathers (1889), Figure 37. Public domain.

What is written on it

A triangle with the mystic letter Yod in the Celestial alphabet at the centre and the Name Shaddai formed in its angles.

The versicle

“Let their eyes be darkened that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake. They have eyes and see not.”

Psalms 69:23 and 135:16

How it is made

  • Engrave it in gold on a Sunday, in an hour of the Sun. Made in the planet's metal, it needs no particular colour.
  • Or draw it on virgin paper or parchment, exorcised first, in gold or yellow, the colour of the Sun.
  • The material must be new and never used for anything else. Metal is first purified by fire.
  • The size is up to you, as long as it is made by the rules. Burn the incense while you work, and be pure in body and mind.
