The Second Pentacle of the Sun

Its virtue

This Pentacle, and the preceding and following, belong to the nature of the Sun. They serve to repress the pride and arrogance of the Solar Spirits, which are altogether proud and arrogant by their nature.

What is written on it

The mystical characters of the Sun on an eight-rayed wheel, ringed by the angels Shemeshiel, Paimoniah, Rekhodiah and Malkhiel.

How it is made

• Engrave it in gold on a Sunday, in an hour of the Sun. Made in the planet's metal, it needs no particular colour.
• Or draw it on virgin paper or parchment, exorcised first, in gold or yellow, the colour of the Sun.
• The material must be new and never used for anything else. Metal is first purified by fire.
• The size is up to you, as long as it is made by the rules. Burn the incense while you work, and be pure in body and mind.
