The Key of Solomon the King, Mathers (1889), Figure 19. Public domain.
What is written on it
A hexagram with AHIH (Eheieh) at its centre, AB in the upper and lower angles, and IHVH in the rest.
The versicle
“Wealth and Riches are in his house, and his righteousness endureth for ever.”
Psalm 112:3
How it is made
- Engrave it in tin on a Thursday, in an hour of Jupiter. Made in the planet's metal, it needs no particular colour.
- Or draw it on virgin paper or parchment, exorcised first, in celestial blue, the colour of Jupiter.
- The material must be new and never used for anything else. Metal is first purified by fire.
- The size is up to you, as long as it is made by the rules. Burn the incense while you work, and be pure in body and mind.
