The Key of Solomon the King, Mathers (1889), Figure 15. Public domain.
What is written on it
IHVH in the angles of a cross and Eloah in the angles of a square, with the angels Arehanah, Rakhaniel, Roelhaiphar and Noaphiel.
The versicle
“A Great God, a Mighty, and a Terrible.”
Deuteronomy 10:17
How it is made
- Engrave it in lead on a Saturday, in an hour of Saturn. Made in the planet's metal, it needs no particular colour.
- Or draw it on virgin paper or parchment, exorcised first, in black, the colour of Saturn.
- The material must be new and never used for anything else. Metal is first purified by fire.
- The size is up to you, as long as it is made by the rules. Burn the incense while you work, and be pure in body and mind.
