The Key of Solomon the King, Mathers (1889), Figure 48, the last of Mercury. Public domain.
What is written on it
A cross with the Names El Ab and IHVH in its quarters.
The versicle
“Lift up your heads, O ye gates, and be ye lift up ye everlasting doors, and the King of Glory shall come in.”
Psalm 24:7
How it is made
- Engrave it in mixed metal on a Wednesday, in an hour of Mercury. Made in the planet's metal, it needs no particular colour.
- Or draw it on virgin paper or parchment, exorcised first, in mixed colours, the colour of Mercury.
- The material must be new and never used for anything else. Metal is first purified by fire.
- The size is up to you, as long as it is made by the rules. Burn the incense while you work, and be pure in body and mind.
