The Key of Solomon the King, Mathers (1889), Figure 51. Public domain.
What is written on it
A hand pointing to the Names Aub and Vevaphel.
The versicle
“Be pleased O IHVH to deliver me, O IHVH make haste to help me.”
Psalm 40:13
How it is made
- Engrave it in silver on a Monday, in an hour of the Moon. Made in the planet's metal, it needs no particular colour.
- Or draw it on virgin paper or parchment, exorcised first, in silver, the colour of the Moon.
- The material must be new and never used for anything else. Metal is first purified by fire.
- The size is up to you, as long as it is made by the rules. Burn the incense while you work, and be pure in body and mind.
