Key of Solomon · Figure 30
The Sixth Pentacle of Mars
Mars ♂︎ · Tuesday · Iron · Red
What it is for
Protection in a fight: you cannot be wounded, and the attacker's weapons turn on him.
Its virtue
It hath so great virtue that being armed therewith, if thou art attacked by any one, thou shalt neither be injured nor wounded when thou fightest with him, and his own weapons shall turn against him.
The Key of Solomon the King, Mathers (1889), Figure 30. Public domain.
What is written on it
The words Elohim qeber (Elohim hath covered) written in the secret alphabet of the Malachim on an eight-rayed wheel.
The versicle
“Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bow shall be broken.”
Psalm 37:15
How it is made
- Engrave it in iron on a Tuesday, in an hour of Mars. Made in the planet's metal, it needs no particular colour.
- Or draw it on virgin paper or parchment, exorcised first, in red, the colour of Mars.
- The material must be new and never used for anything else. Metal is first purified by fire.
- The size is up to you, as long as it is made by the rules. Burn the incense while you work, and be pure in body and mind.
