The Key of Solomon the King, Mathers (1889), Figure 41. Public domain.
What is written on it
Two triangles meeting at their points, with the Names IHVH, Adonai, Ruach, Achides, Ægalmiel, Monachiel and Degaliel.
The versicle
“And the Elohim blessed them, and the Elohim said unto them, Be ye fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it.”
Genesis 1:28
How it is made
- Engrave it in copper on a Friday, in an hour of Venus. Made in the planet's metal, it needs no particular colour.
- Or draw it on virgin paper or parchment, exorcised first, in green, the colour of Venus.
- The material must be new and never used for anything else. Metal is first purified by fire.
- The size is up to you, as long as it is made by the rules. Burn the incense while you work, and be pure in body and mind.
